Jerome is one of the few producers to favor Pinot Meunier, with which he produces wines of great pleasantness. The 'La Varoce' presents a graceful and elegant bouquet, with hints of citrus, flowers and typical hints of pastry. The sip is smooth and effervescent, with good flavor, freshness and a typical, pleasant bitter sensation that occurs on the finish. Pale straw yellow color with a subtle reflection. Starts with a pleasant nose with crust of bread then confirms to the sharply sour (Meunier) with a long close backed by a cool acidity. A pleasant surprise. Only 2500 bottles were produced.
