The grapes used to make Les Héritiers du Comte Lafon Mâcon-Milly-Lamartine come from a single 1.4 hectare vineyard lying at about 250m above sea level. The strains are aged over 30 years old and planted in poor, clayey soils with limestone rocks. Organically certified agriculture is practiced, alongside the use of biodynamic treatments to maintain the natural balance of the terroir. The harvest is carried out manually.
