Vines in the newer-planted southern, but still high-altitude, section of the cru. Sordo uses big Slavonian oak and low-intervention to emphasise freshness and the terroir itself. Long maceration. More piquant on the nose, sharper fruits, with hints of undergrowth, game, smoke and dusky flowers. Jewel-like on the palate, very crunchy and refreshing. Tannins feel nice and ripe. Understated and elegant, with a stealthily long finish. Very long and pleasant aftertaste.
